Or I could combine plans,
by sleeping all morning, then going to the crag with booze, getting drunk and climbing.

Falling off becomes much more likely but somewhat less painful after a few beers.

It is fun.
With beer in me, worries of the big hard ground fade away and I feel like I can pull on the tiniest of holds. Sadly things like balance, co-ordination and the ability to see these tiny holds vanish.

It's alcohol's ancient curse: the feeling of being superhuman while barely functioning at the level of a retarded toddler.
