One of my Dad's friends has recently got some kind of nasty cancer,
but her only hope of survival is some kind of experimental treatment that's only got a 20% chance of working or something, so she's not going to bother.

My late god daughter had cancer three times, had chemo each time but in the end it was the chemo that killed her
the chemo gave her the best possible chance and there is no doubt it was the best thing and she would have died even earlier without but the pain she was in over treatment was horrific.
