if you need money you do anything
I've cut bricks, packed crisps, sold crisps, answered phones, got a forklift licence, all sorts.
edit: for pretty much minimum wage, if not on the line itself

You can't whine about never being able to get a job when you "consider some admin jobs" as if anything else is far underneath you.

they're the lowest jobs on the jobs sites!
the reason I'm only going for those ones is that they're the only ones where I meet the minimum criteria.

Edinburgh doesn't have factories.
It's white collar central. Major banks and insurance companies. That sort of stuff is all out at Fife and Livingston. I'm not joking.

Plenty of those,
but that's really not something I'd be any good at... customer facing, nooo not me. This isn't me being fussy. I worked as a receptionist once and was utterly shit at it.
Besides, I've got a friend who's looking for exactly this kind of work, and has experience, and is having a pretty hard time of it.

Who cleans the windows, does the laundry, makes the food, delivers the post, there are lots of unskilled jobs in the city.
