up here the door step peoples are met with"I'm not voting for you lot you double jobbing expenses ripping freeloading cunts"
or something like that. So far, only the SDLP have bothered to call. the shinners put up posters (most of which have now fallen/been taken down) the unionists don't bother around here even though there is a larger than they would think unionist voting pool and the rest of them don't seem to bother too much anyway.

The SDLP have a better ground team than the Shinners?Times have changed.
I once canvassed Gerry Adams's wife on behalf of the SDLP.
I don't think it worked.

I'd say more dedicated maybe...poor woman out on her own trying to put her party's message across. ashully... to be honest she could sway voters, as my neighbour said (and I quote) "at least she came out, unlike those other lazy bastards - sdlp gets my vote this time then"
