because it keeps you fuller for longer

the soups in the canteen at work are generally really nice
and they have croutons and little buns and melted butter yum yum
I've had soup for lunch a lot lately, but today the bbc has told me that it's good. *smugs*

I was making soup a few times a week, but I kept burning it when I fell asleep and left it on the hob for four hours at a time.
I need a timer controlled gas hob. Is there such a thing?

how about a slow cooker?
or just dont fall asleep while cooking?
or just have it on a lower setting?

It was on low :-(
I've done it four times so far. It ruins the saucepan every time too.

The soup is awesome when I stay awake though.
