
Sorry, I know the answer.
For efficiency, computars often store dates and times as a single number, the amount of milliseconds since midnight, January 1st, 1970. Being one number makes teh maths nice and easy, and you can translate in and out of "human" formats without too much bother.
For some reason, flapper and that other chap have lost their date, so it's defaulted to 0, which means midnight, January 1st, 1970, which was 35 years, 197 days and change ago.
