Boring speculation here.
Sony Ericsson's new walkman phone advert advises you to "search for 'showtime' online".

Searching for that doesn't bring up anything relevant to Sony Ericsson. I doubt it ever has. Why did they do that?

I had to labour it a bit

I know what phone it was, it was the phone in the advert that finished up telling me to look for "showtime" online.
If I searched for showtime, I wouldn't find it. I've been through the first three pages of google. I'd have been much better off searching for "sony ericsson" or "w995", which bring me far more appropriate results.

I searched for "showtime sony ericsson".
You're right, it's a marketing blunder.

You can't even argue that by "online" they meant "on Sony Ericsson's website"
Searching for "showtime" gets you nothing.

ha
that's totally rubbish

Maybe it's secretly an advert for intra-business communication software.

Those ads which don't have an address are always stupid
as quite often people will take the google ads out on it.
