Greetings all!
As another day draws to a close in the land of the long white cloud, the sun rises on the land of the eternal grey fug. What do you plan to do with your miserable lives for the next 24 horrible hours?
(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 7:52, archived)
end it all

(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 7:53, archived)
would you care for assisstance?

(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 8:00, archived)
Nope. Changed my mind.
Made Santa's sleigh and rudolph with my son last night. For the lego nativity scene.

Yeah, I intend to complete Batman in the next day or two as well

(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 8:51, archived)

And belly button

So, your interview went well I see! When do you hear for definite?

Whenever one of the random indian HR agency bods call me back
very strange, they seem to all share one phone and one email account I've no idea who the hell I'm meant to be talking to, I just call the number and start talking to whatever man or woman answers, seems to be working though.

I do appear to be getting less confident by the second, no idea why, i'm like 99% going to get it.
(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 9:16, archived)
Ah, fair enough
Cisco customer service are like that. You end up explaining the same problem to 6 different people. Drives you mad.
(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 9:18, archived)
I deal with Cisco TAC a lot. Always good for a laugh. Or a cry.

(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 9:19, archived)
OOOOH yes.

Worse combination is trying to fix a Nexus 1000V virtual switch
where you get bounced constantly between Cisco and VMware. great fun.

Hey Two Hats!
I did an ego-search. The pricks on OT seem to be upset about our argument not being real.
People on a different board who don't even post here.
That's how important we are to people.
I feel proud.
Heroic.
(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 9:02, archived)
We ARE important aren't we?
TERRIBLY important. We really deserve some kind of reward for this.

Oh and knitting is pretty easy, but crochet is faster.
(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 8:25, archived)

Work,
Skive off work.
Play Batman.
I may even have a couple of beers while playing Batman, but not at work. I miss the days when I could drink at work. I used to do Friday nights so drunk I could barely see. I miss pub work.
(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 9:23, archived)
Did I just hear 'The Soldiers' doing a cover
Of 'Got to get a message to you'? Can't help thinking some of the lyrics are a bit near the knuckle, considering they're soldiers and that.

i didn't hear it from here,
Also I have no idea what you're on about.

How are you?
(, Fri 11 Nov 2011, 9:29, archived)
The Soldiers are 3 ex-serviemen that sing songs for charity
Support our troops type thing. That song is about a man going to the electric chair. 'It's my time to die' that sort of thing.
