True, McDonalds don't put lettuce in their basic cheeseburgers,
but I don't think the addition of either that, or seeds on the bun, would elevate a cheeseburger into something that isn't a cheeseburger.

About a million years ago, when in New York, I went to McDonalds
and bought the 'TRIPLE CHEESEBURGER'. When I got it, I was disappointed to find it was just a bun with three patties and three slices of cheese. Not sure what I was expecting, tbh.
