Red Dwarf is 33 years old today
did anyone else watch the first episode? is it still a good show, or is it one of those things that is now considered to be shit and for kids?

Why?
Also: the prawns should be “defrosted if frozen”, they can’t be both can they, which is it?

I love Red Dwarf
despite the dated-at-the-time late 70s/early 80s English pop references in the early days, and despite the alleged comedy of the more recent stuff.

The situation itself is brilliant, and it's almost impossible to turn that dynamic into something completely unfunny (without taking it back to Earth for a Coronation Street crossover or something).

back to earth was truly dreadful
but it got us more dwarf, so it served its purpose
