there's a species of jumping spider that preys on mosquitos, i think maybe only on mosquitos
but here's the kicker, they only (or mostly only) go for the mosquot when it's full of blood, and as far as i recall specifially human blood. more nutrition. they jump and catch them out of the air.

they can tell if the the mosquot is full of blood by the resonance of the wing beats or some shit i dunno. isn't animal nature mental or summink
