Up to a point, yes.
I have to mask my aberrant social disfunction to hold down a job. Just showing up washed and not drinking on the job is an effort. It's exhausting.

It's exhausting, when someone gatecrashes your meeting and monopolises the time, and you decide that it's best if you don't shout the fucker down and tell them to fuck off and read the fucking invite list. Exhausting, especially when the gatecrasher is your boss. Especially while the company is cutting staff during a merger.

The positive bit is that I didn't do those bad things, and I was able to steer the meeting back on track, and so I still have a job.
