Speaking of inpenetrable Japanese storytelling I finally finished that Space Battleship Yamato film on the youtubes last night.
Very dense storytelling, if I wasn't familiar with the old cartoon I'd have been lost.
Crap film though it did make me slightly emotional at the end, loads of pew-pew-pew space battles if you like that sort of thing.
1 bag of popcorn, 1 bag of shite.
