i was counting beeps to get to sleep and it was interrupted by a sheep

I told the sheep they'd made me saaaaaaad
the sheep said that was just too baaaaaad
I realised then I had begun
to speak like them. I tried to run
but the duvet I was wrapped beneath
was now my woolly, heavy fleece
I staggered outside to find grass
and now I sleep in fields at last
