We get on really well with our air fryer
it's good for the things its suited to. We've found a way to make really good samosas from frozen in it (we've worked out that the Asda ones are as good as the local takeaway) but you just can't do a falafel in anything other than boiling oil.

I got the air fryer to do things I need a proper fryer for: triple cooked chips, arancine etc
as such, waste of time and valuable cupboard space

Mother in law keeps buying air fryers, not using them and then dumping them on us. The only fried food I make is eggs and I doubt that the air fryer would do a better job than a pan
