I vividly remember my dad setting up the music centre and mounting the speakers on either side of the wall, then putting A Journey Into Stereo Sound on the turntable and sitting exactly in the middle of the room to experience it.
I was amazed, and said "fuck's sake dad it's 2025, get a soundbar already"
