he is such an utterly, utterly revolting man. repellant and beneath contempt in every possible way. fundamentally I believe in the possibility of redemption, that however far any of us have strayed into the dark, we can find our way back. but somehow I just can't extend my belief to that piece of work. that's what I resent most, I think.
