Boston the cat is recovered. gave him his second-to-last antibiotic pill this morning - he's not too much of a struggle to administer them to, unlike the other cat that's a hissing banshee in the face of medicine. Anyway. He's been allowed out again now in the hope that'll vent some of his energy.

So far, we've seen the carnage of a single butterfly left as a gift this year
and once he returned with a feather and was very proud of himself. Neither of the cats represents much of a threat to the local wildlife, though they can occasionally catch a fly.
