It's impressive how someone stood in its way whilst it bounded toward them.
If I was holding the camera, I'd have seriously pegged it!

Yes Blender and imported into AfterEffects
the tracking was via Blenders' new tracking feature although I had to help the track along a bit with some tweaks in AfterEffects.
Here's the model in it's development stages.

Lots of hard work and toil not just modelling the thing but doing the particle system for the spikes
went through many trial and errors still not 100% happy with them but it's a learning exercise. Then Came the Rigging with wasn't easy either. Then the one which was the make or break was the Tracking of the footage and getting the Hedgehog to sit in the scene, colour correct and add and shadow layer which had to be mostly bodged together because it wasn't playing nicely but eventually got it all together, phew!

Thanks tried to make the back legs look as good as possibly could have just gone 100% cartoon
but it wouldn't have looked as nice once rigged.

This happens to me all the time.
Edit: not worth it's own thread above such Hedgehoggy awesomeness I gave my car some company. I might add more or get bored and start something else.

In the boot.
Adding him tends to make the pic 10 times bigger and this is optimised to hell as it is.

I wanted to say this when you first posted your car, but it was already off the bottom of the page by the time I saw it.

Don't worry
Someone else said it!
Edit; For noobs, please do not confuse the Dave in question with Truck-driving Cirencester based Dave.

Then all is right with the world.
Oh, and edit on the edit above, Dave != Dave, obviously.
Some say Dave is from Cirencester, but looking at his posting times I think he *is* actually from the other side of the world; vrnetwork.ning.com/profile/Moggy

Thinking about it now,
you'll have to give a name to the car...

The natural order of things, innit?

I quite agree
Except that any time I go back to Blighty now after six years living in the heathen lands of the Continent I nearly get killed on the roads and can't quite adjust to everything being on the left.

The footage is all in the hands of secret government agencies
I managed to salvage this bit of shaky camera work although I don't think it will be long before they are on to me.

I am not connected...

Thanks not nearly as good as any of your models but I've always like the idea
of using CGI and live action together.

That's astounding
The amount of work expended on a post on b3ta rather shames me. And inspires me. And shames me.
