The PC had a horrendous crash, and corrupted windows; I'm now only part way through re-installing all my programs after a full system wipe.
To replace the burnt out card, it will cost £300 for a new one. Alternatively, I may be able to get a deal on two new cards, slightly more powerful, for a little bit less, so I may habve to go with that.
I guess that's the end of going out for a quite a few weekends now.
Pissing computers; cost more than they are worth sometimes...
