the letter I wrote to him did have a rather leftfield suggestion

I want him to make the Queen Mother the patron saint of pot-holing. I've told him that the people of Britain have lost faith in the Catholic church because of the kid-bumming thing, and this is the only way to placate us. If he could announce it on his arrival to the UK this year, I thought, that would be the best approach.
