regular common or garden graffiti paint. i often use a bit of regular emulsion on canvas though, mostly cos' it's cheap.

i did this as well. i have a stall selling my stuff at a food festival. at the opening of an ice cream parlour. on a farm. in a tiny village. on the outskirts of the most skinflint city i've ever lived in.
