When I post on other people post I get told to fuck Off and that i am not wanted here, when i post non SW stuff I get told to fuck off and that i am not wanted here. When i post things about my comic people complain that I am treating it as an ad service and that i am posting it wrong.
I just can't be arse with it all anymore.

Not too big, not too spammy, and in the right place.

Perhaps he should come back in 12 hours.

We like pictures here on /board. Post one, but post one with a small file-size (100kb~) or post a thumbnail which links to the bigger picture. Spamming usually isn't appreciated, so tone it down. A link to your site along with a picture is fine.
The /links board just love links. It's their bread and butter. So threads like this belong over there.

whoever told you about b3ta (I know someone did), then they should have told you about the mentality here.
The only problem is that you've posted a link when - if you wanted to prevent a forum-wide asthma attack - you should have posted a strip, with the link below.

:)
Draw a picture (not too big) and post it.
Make a funny pic (not too big) and post it.
make a funny animation, you'll get a reach around.
if all else fails - fuck'em.

...don't post non image posts on the main board. If it's not an image and is conversation it goes on the talk board, if it's a link it's on the links board.
People are annoyed because you have either missed or chosen to ignore several times when you were told this:
1) When you join you are not allowed to post until the following week and are invited in that time to read the FAQ and lurk to make sure people fit well into the "community" (as that's what it is) so I presume you didn't read the FAQ at this point.
2) Every new post page also reiterates the rules such as "pictures only on the main board" etc. So that's another ignore.
3) You say you have been yelled at before? So have I, I posted a repost-image in a new thread and was called a cunt. You know what tho? I didn't throw toys out of the pram, I saw a great number of mad people so I went and read the FAQ to see what I'd done so wrong. When that many people are telling you you are wrong there is more chance of them being right than you (not always but you should at least check).
If you read the faq and follow the rules then this is an AWESOME community. There is nothing wrong with you promoting things here to a point but be polite about it and don't push it. I've let people know when I'm going to be at cons with my comic on here before but to do so I drew a nice pic for them and posted the pic and put the announcement as a note under it asking nicely if people would like to come visit.
Basically pick up your toys and stay or continue your huff and leave, but we're a lot of nice people.
