It's seriously worrying me and if anyone can help these people they're targetting or try and get the folks doing it to see sense and back off before 'consequences will never be the same' for all of us as a whole, please do...

there was something else recently about a "Jessica Elwood"....

They start at about 15 quid, I now have numerous glasses in various styles for all occasions and I have yet to spend over £20 for any of them...
Also Daysoft for contact lenses...

but if you never get enemies then you've never stood up for anything you believe in, and I honestly do believe this is very wrong.
If people see me in the news accused of paeodophilia or somesuch in the next few days, please tell the cops about the internet, cheers.

Now all that's needed is to turn it into something constructive and nice.

and the whole flash mob movement is often a thing of beauty and a fantastic example of folks doing stuff to just have fun and make the world a nicer place, but this is not their finest hour.
Of course it could all go the other way and just quietly utterly destroy a couple of people's lives and all those associated with them.
Either way I'm not comfortable, this shit is just scary and wrong, where's the humour, where's the point?

People getting kicks from being sneaky and cruel, admittedly what they've achieved is impressive in a sense.

never really been to 4Chan (Had a look at 4Chan once, couldn't see what it was about, didn't return /end of 4Chan anecdote) but it sounds like bunch of virtal-mutual-masturbation-trolls self-pleasuring themselves by seeing just how trollish they can be. Way to go 4Chan.

The internet does wield a lot of power, I'm reminded of that old adage about responsibility, think maybe some is needed here before we all get the consequences, Australia in particular seems to be teetering on the edge over this subject, if this story hits the national news, well, one tiny push and we got ourselves a nice hysteria bandwagon rolling out the changes for all of us...

The source of shenanigans is /b/ - the random board, populated by /b/tards.
There's plenty of good stuff on the other boards there.

Take a look at this board for example : boards.4chan.org/po/
Papercraft & origami or this : boards.4chan.org/sci/ - science & maths.
Edit : YES! That's more like it.

Well I changed the piccy, cheers for that, as I say I'm no expert nor tryin to be, just finding that story a bit much and hoping somebody here might be able to give things a nudge back to reason in some way...

link link link stop saying link!
It is very complex, I'd give folks a summary but then that might get me under the same spotlight and I'd rather not if poss, better you make your own minds up and scary enough living in Leeds' chav underbelly without getting the same kinda shite online too, I was awakened by a chav-teen taking a hammer to the old washer we'd set out to be taken by the council this morning as he wanted the drum and motor to sell for scrap, HUGE mess and nearly broke me windows when he laid into the concrete block, just going for it in me front garden.
Screwdrivers not an option apparently...

Anyone calling out /b/ with their real name and address is asking for trouble, frankly. To use your analogy, it's like going up to a bunch of chavs (and I used to live in the chavviest area of chavtown, I feel your pain) and shouting "I bet you lot couldn't kick the crap out of me!"

I have a similar story someplace on QOTW, or Top Tips or wherever it went I can't remember now, mine ends in a few broken ribs and a few months in bed and all I as doing was tryin to get home.
Lovely folk.
Mine did kinda end well eventually, a mate who's a barrister sued the local police for failing in their duty to keep order and protect local property, they therefore were forced to make an action group specially tailored to respond to the problem and it cleared up within about 6 months!
Then the chief of police pulled a few strings and got my friend fired for his 'meddling' and he now lives in near poverty in a similar area to what he saved me from with a court order silencing him while simultaneously disallowing him to work in law ever again and the police won't respond to any of his calls as his home gets slowly destroyed by all the chavs he's previously pissed off.
I try n cheer him up n help as much as I can, but it weighs on my shoulders that I kinda caused it.
I too think a lot about getting out of here someday...
