# Quincy Teabag: The Great Adventure

I had to make some sort of poster for a uni project so I did one based on this story I wrote.

# Yeah, it took fucking ages to edit all the kerning.
By the time I'd started on the small print I was ready to set myself on fire.

I did a much quicker job of the small print, I didn't even bother editing letter spacing.

# Awful.
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 0:58, archived)
# I actually read the tale.
Recommendations:

Spike Milligan's Bad Jelly the Witch, and

any short writings of HP Lovecraft.

Your yarn has elements of both. Keep reading/writing!

# I was directly influenced by Lovecraft :P
Most of my short stories contain Lovecraftian stylings.
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 1:11, archived)
# Glad to hear it!
You've clearly got a distinctive style of your own; but it might amuse you to read "Bad Jelly the Witch" in the light of the above tale.
Mind you, Amazon are asking £164.95 for it at the moment, which seems a tad steep.
(, Mon 6 Dec 2010, 1:18, archived)
# Haha!
I think I'll pass.
If I come across it somewhere though, I'll give it a look.

# On the other hand,
the same company are doing a 900-page hardback "Necronomicon: The Best Weird Tales of HP Lovecraft" for under a tenner at the moment.
I bought it, despite the absence of "Nyarlathotep".
