My Mum died of it at exactly the same age just a couple of weeks ago.
Bloody celebrities stealing my grieving process.
My kids will probably be more sad about losing Sarah Jane than they were about their bloody granny.
Genuinely sad about this, though

In fairness my mum did smoke like a fucking chimney
And on a completely unrelated note, some friends of ours had a chimney that had some old bees' nests in it so when they lit it, they got honey dripping down the back. Nearly killed the chimney sweep.

Ha - I just checked, and it turns out the obituary I sent to the Guardian got published today
My mother lost both of her parents to it. A horrible experience for all concerned, I just pray that with advancements in medicine this will all soon become a thing of the past :(
