I hardly use the bus these days, but whenever I do, even if it's only a mile it's nearly £2!

# 85p on most of our buses will take you one fare stage
which can be anything from just one stop to a couple miles depending on the route. We are in a price war with Stagecoach at the moment so we have on selected routes a £1.30 maximum fare offer terminus to terminus - and yet they still complain about the price!
