or at least he hasn't prove to be when we came to rely upon him during previous World Cups - like most modern footballers they are paid far more than they are worth in skills the older generation like Bobby Moore, George Best etc were talented footballers. That makes me sound old I'm not that old but in fairness the value placed on Beckham's skills are truly overrated. I'm not a hater of the Beckham's just like the Royal Family my opinion is "Meh!"

Not now of course, he's at the end of his career. I'm not a fan of David Beckham the media whorepersonality, but I have to acknowledge the game against Greece which he won pretty much single-handedly to enable us to get to the World Cup Finals in 2002.
