Firstly:
One of the general rules of FPs is that they should be amusing to the general public, not just B3tans. So a technical joke about image quality is not suitable for FP, even if it is funny.
Secondly:

However, on this occasion, I can explain - I tracked down all of the mods and locked them up in my basement dungeon for the last 5 days. I brain-washed two of them to go and kill Joss Stone and released the others on the condition my next picture post was front-paged.

In hindsight, it seems like quite a lot of effort, but it hurt my arsehole a lot less than all my other FPs.

Reading back, I think I might have damned you with faint praise - sorry, I didn't mean to, I do think it's a great post and I really don't have an issue with it being FP.
I just thought there were quite a few noteworthy pics ignored in the last 5 days. And I certainly don't mean any of my own, btw.
