The trouble is that Obama is only a small part of the US government
The US actions on trade (and its dominance of the World Trade Organisation) in particular its actions forcing its GM crops on everyone is a prime reason for its unpopularity

I once travelled the length of the old Route 66 and have never met such hospitality and genuine interest in strangers. The only rude people I ever encountered were in cities, but even then they were rare.

I met some lovely people out in rural Pennsylvania.
It was only the shower of pissflaps I worked for that spoilt it.
