# Yeah, A fringe lunatic like him in the 70s was someone to laugh at...
Now he's lucky if he doesn't get repeatedly shot in the face whilst running for a train!

# The fact is that was the whole point of Wolfie Smith and the Tooting Popular Front
to make a mockery of such socialists groups. Now anybody who talks in terms of revolutionary socialism is treated with the same contempt or labelled akin to the The Baader Meinhof and The Shining Path who were truly dangerous and extreme.

# i dont get it
and that font is hard to read
and its too brown

# What it's saying is...
In these politically correct and paranoid times, A lone nut like Wolfie Smith would never get away with attempting to over throw government without encountering the police and anti terrorism league....

And on the font, It does loose some clarity during optimization... But hold control and push your wheel on your mouse forward!

My set zoom is 150% because at this resolution some images can be hard to see...

*edit* also its the 70's brown is the colour!

Also, WATCH MORE 70s SITCOMS!

I made the top 10 in the stats this week.

# i knew about the control zoom thing - its quite useful
but i dont use it often, as i never know when its back to 100%, and sometimes cock up some websites.

I was born in 79, so aside from a handful of sitcoms i liked as i got older like on the buses and some mothers do ave em, i wasnt that familiar with them. Citizen smith, right? Never saw it.

# I was born in '79 too...
But I had sky when all it was-was re-runs of old sitcoms and star trek.

Count the bumps you go up, then do the same back down to get to 100%

# you say that but there's a massive and peaceful demonstration outside the Houses of Parliament today
that hasn't had any riot police kicking off. Rob's there I think.

but that's not what people fighting the power want to hear I guess
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 17:22, archived)
# You know,
I can find bugger all about that in the news :-(

You can't class an actual protest in the same league as Wolfie Smith, the whole point was that he was a stupid character who's ideas where dangerous and everyone realised it and pretty much ignored him.

BUT if he where to exist and talk like that today then he probably would at the very least be interviewed by the police.
