I got my first-ever legit push in a wheelchair by a hospital porter today. Bloody great, it was, but it was only a coupla hundred yards.
It was still the highlight of 6 hours waiting around in the hospital for a total of less than 10 mins' medical attention.
It's another bloodclot/ deep vein thrombosis, only this time the consultant told me I should be on warfarin FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
If I was mongychops I'd post a pic of my comically-swollen thigh, but I still retain a certain amount of inhibition.
(Mind you, I was so bored in the waiting room today I nearly biro'd a CDC on said thigh)

I got a blood clot in my lung back in August, put me on warfarin for the rest of my life.Happy days :(

Looking on the bright side, it'd make it fairly easy to commit suicide without actually seeming to.Just stop taking the drugs, wait for the bloodclot, then vigorously pummel the clotted part 'til a piece of clot breaks off and blocks off yr heart.

First, get yerself a nice blood clot. You could borrow one from an obliging female friend if you're diplomatic about it. The rest follows on from that.Although I think consuming enormous quantities of garlic has a similar blood-thinning effect.

Hell yeah. Could get someone to film the ensuing wacky-yet-doomed stunt for You've Been Framed and that's £250 towards the funeral costs right there.
