#
I drank 3 cans of coke the other night.
I was surprised it didn't keep me awake.
But I did have a bad stomach the next day.

I can usually stay awake for really long periods of time, but I just can't do it during Winter :(

Plus I'm always depressed as fuck.

(, Mon 7 Nov 2011, 21:49, archived)

which means no sleep at all and piano fingers

# It really is a shame for me, because I consider myself more of a night person. I prefer being up during the night than day.
But with classes, body clocks and all that bollocks... =_=

# There was an article in New Scientist in 2006,
about a study that strongly indicated that some people just aren't programmed for early starts.
This article was referred to again the other week, so one must assume it's not been disproven.

# Hmm, I guess that's you and me, then.
It's weird, it was never really bad when I was younger, but for the past 6 or so years it's been getting worse and worse. :S

# no matter what time i get to sleep
i get up at 9. it helps, but not much.

# I have to wake up at 8 whenever I have a class. Any other day I usually wake up at half 10-11.
Most of the time, it just depends what the weather's like. If it's really shitty and cold, then I just can't wake up.

# just because i don't work and have no kids
i see that as no reason to stay in bed all day, or go to the shops in my pyjamas.

# Mm, it's like me over Summer then.
There was no reason for me to be up, but I pretty much had to.

I rarely ever oversleep during the Summer.

# that's like me on holiday
even if i don't get back to the hotel till 7 a.m, i'm still up in time for breakfast

# It gets to the point where I don't sleep for days on end during the Summer.
Means I can get a lot more work done... you know... when I VERY RARELY have work? -_-

Which can make getting up for work quite unpleasant.

# Pffft tell me about it
For someone who loves bed, I cannot understand why I don't spend more time there.

Sleep deprivation can have serious health implications. So why do we fecking do it to ourselves?

Answers on a postcard please.

# Jess & I used to laugh that we were like kids...
We used to stay up too late playing, then go to bed when we couldn't stay awake any longer.

Then be tired and miserable in the morning
(, Mon 7 Nov 2011, 22:03, archived)
# It's the 'getting up in the morning' where the plan falls apart, really.
(, Mon 7 Nov 2011, 22:07, archived)
# I stay up late, simply, because my body clock is set to a certain amount of sleep.
For example, if I fell asleep now, I would most certainly be up again at 5am.
