# When I use Text Tool in Photoshop
and I press return the cursor disappears.
(line spacing is set to match test size).
Also, when I use shape tool, it doesn't
create a new layer anymore, What's going on?

I'm guessing you've somehow selected the middle button of the three I've circled.
You need the left-hand one selected to make a new layer with a vector shape.
