# BANG, FUCKING SATIRE!
Very nicely done! To hear that c**t Kavanagh talk you'd think the entire political establishment hadn't been kissing Murdoch's arse for the past 20 years. But oh no, all of a sudden we must defend the fragile media against this vicious onslaught..

# I just nosed at the suns page regarding her....
I posted a comment...

"Thousands of people dying daily due to malnutrition, lack of medical care and clean water... but this should dominate the news as she sang some songs"

For some reason it was only there for 5 minutes then was deleted! but the comments saying her and Michael Jackson killed themselves that's fine! anything to keep us looking at the big picture!!!

I'm beginning to feel like David Ike!

# WAKE UP SHEEPLE!
basically yes, you're absolutely right. But the Sun didn't become Britain's biggest daily by telling their readers all about 'boring', depressing stuff like famines and war (unless it features OUR BOYS), it's the super soaraway Sun that fills them on all the goss about their favourite celebs!!11!

# More of this sort of thing!
Remember the 80's when every news bulletin was about death and famine overseas? it didn't suddenly stop, we just filled that time with shite about celebrities.

Surely, when the death of Jade Goody PRINZESS OV ARE HARTZ 4EVA WIV DA ANGLES dominates the news and Mother Theresa gets a tiny footnote on page 17 you should realise that something is badly wrong with the media today.

# there's nothing wrong with the media
it's the c**ts who buy it, this is just supply & demand.

# I remember the day she died, My friends list on facebook dropped by over 100 people.
I said "Thank god she's dead, now maybe we can have some actual news in our papers.... Night night oxygen thief"

I thought my notifications where going to implode, lots of "you heartless bastard she had kids, i'm de-friending you" messages.... not one "let's talk about and exchange ideas and opinions on this situation" I swear, this world is turning into the film They Live!

# At the time I was working for a radio station in Lancashire...
I got a phone call at about 2/3am my friend Steve screaming "WE'RE IN OBIT"

Obit (obituary procedure) is a little light in radio and tv stations that goes off when someone of major importance dies... It was meant to be used only for the Queen and Prime minister... But for some reason they put it on for her, He panicked as he hadn't had any obit training, I just said switch to slow music and keep an ear on the news feed. It all went well and the station wasn't fined for him playing something inappropriate.

Only other time I am aware it was used recently was 9/11, I was making ads in studio 2 and the BIG GREEN OBIT LIGHT came on, the program controller came crashing though the door, shoved me out and took control of the the output from studio one.... IRN feed was being listened too off air by him... it informed him there would be a live break in feed in 3:40 he quickly scoured the database for a slow sombre song to take him up to the breaking news....

his choice.

R-Kelly - Flying without wings!

True story!
my fingers ache now.

# Haha, Well that's not as bad as missing happy days...!
I remember finding out about 911 by popping into a freinds house for a coffee, tower one had been hit as had the petagon, we were watching rolling sky news, they were still debating weather it was a terrorist attack or two accidents.... and then as we were watching, BANG! there went tower two, we were like "What the fuck, jesus man!"
