It refered to them as R2D2 (Artoo Deetoo) and C3PO (See Threepio). It's probably in my Mum's basement. I'll look for it next time I visit.

I think they were always letter/numbers like a model number.

It refered to the both as Artoo Deetoo and See Threepio....
I remember all the Star wars colectables I had and kept for years, It was alway promised they would be worth a fortune, but they never were, so one day the lot went into the dustbin to make space, then years later when they relesed Phantom menace, all the stuff I'd thrown into the bin was suddenly worth thousands! :-(
