the thing I learnt (or remembered, it seems familiar but not) is that there are 4 "banned" issues of 2000AD
for dubious advertising/trademark infringement.

No, to be fair they are very good.
2000 AD was a nice antidote to the U.S. stylee stuff. Not that there's much wrong with all that, but it's nice to have a different perspective.
