I saw some DVDs of the original series the other day,
remastered with new digital special effects.
I kid you not, they have actually gone back and put lens flare on the original series.

what's wrong with making a film with normal lighting conditions on it? Too many films in the 90s were literally too dark to watch for me, and now they are all too shiny
