# Cthulhu Rising

- been lucky enough to be drafted in as part of the sculpting team producing miniatures as game-pieces for a Cthulhu-themed boardgame, designed by Sandy Petersen (the author of the Call of Cthulhu rpg) - it's currently running on Kickstarter and is doing quite well for them: I can stick up a link if you're into that sorta thing, though I think it's probably easy enough to get to anyway via the one below.

Anyway, to get to the point - they've just started up a viral video contest so I figured it might be of interest to the b3tans - woobox.com/yiqt9z

# sculpted from
'greenstuff', more properly known as kneadatite - the Cthulhu Wars peeps have done computer magics to uncolour it...

# Is that physically sculpted or a 3D computer rendition in something like mudbox?
I only ask because if you have a .stl file I might be able to get it 3D printed. How big is it?
Lovely work btw, whatever the medium!

# physical sculpt
I've yet to get the hang of any of the 3D progs, was just about getting to grips with zbrush when the trial-thingy ran out :/ Meanwhile, it's a bit shy of 200mm. And ta, btw :)

# I don't have facefook, so I looked up the kickstarter, that looks good.
The massive models, make me hark back to my W40K painting days a bit too....

# Tell me, snuurg, have you ever seen a grown man naked?

# hwhy hyess...
- caught sight of meself once or twice in a long mirror. Terrifying. Saw a naked man groan once, too. But he was in a morgue, so that was slightly even more terrifying.
