but i tend to think that rather than actually advertising a product, you have merely presented one as representative of the range of products designed to appeal to fathers. thus, having contravened the exacting rules and, may i suggest, the spirit of the competition, it should be, (option 2), shunned.

...could one not also postulate that an item's packaging is, in fact, the ultimate advertisement for itself? The very lure that entices a passing pundit to purchase.
