[challenge entry] The BBC news website would have had the best animated banner. 100% fact.
That spinning globe fills me with nostalgic joy. The news stories about the country being in dire straits provide similar nostalgia, but less joy.
An old 1978 computer, with a mocked up seventies style BBC News. The top stories are strikes and inflation. The logo bar across the top has the old BBC TV spinning world animation.
