Anybody can go to festivals - it is synically using a festival for his own political ends that makes him fodder for taking the piss.Why doesn't he stick to kissing babies, he knows what they are. Ask him about the seventh incarnation of Vishu and he probably wouldn't know where to start.

Isn't any politician attending anything cynically doing so for their own political ends?I mean, I'm not saying you should let him off, pile in as much as you want. I just don't see why this is worse than any other politician doing any other photo op.
