You probably commentated on it already...
...but I was watching the parades this afternoon on telly with the missus.
Why the fuck didn't they just set up one camera at the end of the fricking Mall and be done with it? All that jumping about, never getting to see anything properly, people trying to explain what was happening when they obviously didn't have a clue, Dimblebum sounding like he'd just stepped out of Prince Phillip's psyche... and all the fucking 'Art Directors', that made everything so complex that anyone who wasn't watching on TV wouldn't have a clue what anything represented!
Me, I'd have been happy with a quick march-past of the Imperial Guard and a few tanks.
I like tanks.

15 million viewers
All the BBC would want to get their nose in the trough for that kind of audience share. A scary thing I worked out last week- if Big Brother gats an audience of about 4 million, and almost 170 K applied to be on it- that means approx 1 in 23 people or so who watched it applied...

There was a party
at the end of the street today, the usual stuff: food, bad music, bouncy castle, except for the fuck-off big tank that someone had bought along.
It was massive, had camouflage, tank tracks etc. and a left dirty great gouge in the road surface.
