Giraffes are gay - Official.
A further quote from 'Greek Homosexuality' by KJ Dover:
'The giraffe has developed a courtship technique, exploiting the aesthetic potentialities of his long neck, which he uses in homosexual relations but not in heterosexual mating; the technique culminates in erection, mounting and occasionally spontaneous ejaculation or attempts to induce ejaculation by friction, though not (so far) in anal penetration.'

Thanks.
It is a rather serious history book - but there are some peculiar facts in it, and some even odder illustrations from Greek vases.

If you're going to stereotype,
there's not much point in subtlety. But the really thick black moustaches just looked silly on a giraffe - now that was a statement you wouldn't often find anywhere but here.

Goodness me.
I hardly expected to see that on the front page - I just cobbled together a few stereotype props to make an illustration that would allow me to use that quotation. Thank you, members of the Presidium.
As it's the quote that did it, this should be the first b3ta front page for Sir Kenneth Dover, formerly President of the British Academy, Chancellor of the University of St Andrews, etc.
