# does anyone
know of any good multiplaning animation software?
Multiplaning is when you have layers of images but each layer has a certain distance between itself and the next layer, so that when you zoom in, it looks like you are zooming into a more 3D-esque world due to the added depth.
examples: -

the first image is regular zooming, the second has shoddily cobbled together manual zooming. Notice how the sun stays the same size in the multiplaned picture as it is the inifitely distant background in this '3D' scene.

So does anyone know of any software that allows you to specify a distance between layers?

# you can find some at

# use layers
layers are just as good
and eyes are good for measuring.

q: if you were trying to define the distance between the sun and the tree in the aforementioned picture, would you enter 672000000 miles in the "parralax zoom" dialogue?

Don't answer that.
