How is the snail on the frontpage a .txt file? I don't get it...I'm insane...help me!

But when I check the properties, it says it's called snail_mobile_weeny.TXT!

It says it's a TXT file!

that way, hosts that don't allow hotlinking to images ignore it, thinking that it's a text file.

but don't block text, so if you rename an image with a txt extension, it will still display as an image but get round the remote linking thing
