Now, erm yes. Fnord's Law is a way of explaining that taking hours crafting an image may not get much of a response (not just a front page but lots of woo's in general) because people probably won't know you took so long on getting a fiddly detail right or something).
Whereas if the joke or idea is so good that it just takes a small amount of cobbling together and a few minutes work then the idea is probably good enough to be simple and easy to get and find amusing and more people will 'get it'.
You may not think it's the funniest thing in the world but if you haven't spent long on it you probably haven't changed it much and it's that slightly askew version of the world that b3tans love so much :)

or something... been ages since i actually tried explaining it.
