# Santa! your hands are cold there..

I need to put the sign in that picture into a form that could be used as an actual sign to put on the door of one whom I love, very dearly. Please aid me!

# I'd say,
request the aid of SunshineElephant
also, there are some very good day boarderes who may be able to help.
but, as it stands, this shift right now has limitied talent[no offence to anyone] for that kind of stuff
if i tried it, it would look like the snowman had anorexia.

# Speak for yourself.
I'm talented.

(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 4:16, archived)
# oh god
this is why i put in "[no offence to anyone]"

# Ha!
That's quite cheered me up.

I can't believe anyone can manipulate goatse though. I mean, obviously apart from the man himself.

# .
You just close your eyes and move the mouse around. The image gets burned into the retina, so there's no chance of failure...
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:11, archived)
# I've been on the 'net for just over ten years.
I'm numb to it. When I see something like Goatse.cx, I'm more curious about how much he's practiced, rather than being offended by it. While it's not a typical thing, it's a normal thing taken to extremes.

People learn from it, which makes it good.

Of course, I'm bi, so I might be a little less daunted by what I see.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:19, archived)
# Don't get me wrong here.
The goatse-induced shock is much the same as the 'bumgay' laugh. It's innocently horrible, like the bumgay jokes are innocently funny. It's not to do with it being a gay man's rectum, just that IT'S A REALLY BIG RECTUM!

I hope this clarifies my position. It's also the first time I've posted the word 'rectum' on b3ta.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:30, archived)
# I hope it was a good experience
and not a huge leap.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:37, archived)
# It was marvellous.

# Too lazy to shop it
Close your eyes, imagine the sign and read "ANYONE I've been a naughty girl PLEASE SPANK"

Then print that out and hang it on your door

# Ahem
*loads up fresh toner cartriges*

# thats lovely
a larger size of that would be nice. I need to be able to print this off and have it take up at least a full page.

Perhaps I'll try it again during the day.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:05, archived)
# Yeah, you should try in the day, I think.
We're all useless here. Try about 11.30am EST, and say that Baz said it would be OK. That should get you some good results.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:12, archived)
# Thanks
for the continued praise.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:31, archived)
# Do you like it tilted
or would you prefer it straight up and down? I'll redo it for you.

# ...

It needs to be cleaned up a little bit more... clicky for fullsize

# I know - I've been used to UK b3ta hours for the last year or so
and now I've moved to US (and have a job so I can't really post during the working day) I miss it greatly.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 4:40, archived)
# I can understand what you're going through.
I work for myself, so I get on at all hours of the day. Day shift is a LOT different than night shift.

Don't undersell the night shift, though. There are a few (mostly lurking) that are quite talented. Our volume is less (and spam a bit more), but there is still talent to be found in a pinch (I try to help, as I can).
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 4:52, archived)
# Oh, it's not a talent thing - I've seen some great stuff here at night.
And actually, I've a fairly flexible job so I can at least hit the 5pm UK rush over lunch. I just miss the general activity and sort of humour. US humour is different - not worse, just different.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:03, archived)
# A good point, well made.
British humor is different, which is part of my attraction to this site (other than the graphic talent). I enjoy 'the other side of the coin', so to speak.

I think many British take a little more pride in grammar, and the jokes, et al, have a little more flavor. They're often more a turn of phrase than a 'jump in your face' type of joke.

It's all quite good. I take it in scoops and enjoy the ride.
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:11, archived)
# I certainly take pride in my grammar.
And if you listen carefully, I say 'cock orff'.

Why this is the time I prefer to post, since everything I post is all crap anyway :P
(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:19, archived)
# Everything you post is effort.
which isn't crap.

B3ta is a community. There are elite people (pippy is one of my favorites, Eclectech another), we all contribute. It's part of the beauty. By posting, we learn to be better. Our peers teach us, and we grow.

It's just a good thing.

(, Wed 10 Mar 2004, 5:29, archived)
# LOL
Thanks for the ego boost :P

I'm sure I could improve my technique, but it doesn't help when I can't convey what I'm thinking anyway, technique or no... usually end up ditching things I'm working on cause nobody else gets it :P

I have a hole in my hummus tank methinks

I posted this yesterday (well, two days ago, now).
