# Rubbish
getting on the frontpage has nothing to do with who you are. It just has to do with how funny your picture is and who happens to be moderating at the time.

As for getting into the newsletter - I personally have managed a couple of times but have failed far more often.

You should be making stuff for the love of it - getting in the newsletter or frontpage is just a bonus. It's nice when it happens, but if you make it your sole reason for doing stuff, then you are really missing the point.

as long as I find what I do funny/interesting, then I don't overly care. Of course, FP's are appreciated, especially when they garner lots of responses.

But hey, with the member number rising, it will become more and more difficult.
