BMP files are bad because they are enormous. I suggest saving photos as jpegs and other things as gifs

that post is top notch as a picture though!

A little bit of advice is not to save your work as .BMP files - they are not web friendly and tend to have huge filesizes.

You are much better to save your work as a .jpg, .gif or .png which are compressed and much smaller in size.

Welcome to the party though.

I had the same i idea, but i'm to lazy today!

open it in paint and save it as a jpeg, comes out at 32kb!
